Construction Estimator

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Estimator located in Greater Hartford. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as construction estimating, quantity take-offs, cost management, budgeting, and communication with architects, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skills
• Cost Management and Budgeting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Familiarity with construction materials and methods
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in historic restoration and preservation is a plus
• Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) are a plus

Salary

Commensurate with experience, $90,000 – $125,000 annually
