New Haven Courthouse – GA23

New Haven County Courthouse is an historic courthouse located in the northwest corner of the New Haven Green on Elm and Church Streets. The courthouse has hosted some very significant cases including Griswold v. Connecticut and the trial of Bobby Seale. Talks of demolition began in the late 1950s but fortunately were never realized. Kronenberger & Sons’ work on the courthouse included full restoration and lead paint abatement of all doors and windows, exterior masonry repointing and extensive marble dutchmen repairs, structural reinforcement and foundation reconstruction under the front portico and stairs, stained-glass window repair, decorative plaster recreation, and installation of a new front portico roof and gutter system. New Haven County Courthouse is #03000404 on the National Register of Historic Places.
